Job summary

Located in Belleville, Clara Maass Medical Center, a RWJBarnabas Health facility, is seeking an RN for the Post Intensive Care Unit-I. This full-time day-shift position (7:00am–7:30pm) requires an active NJ RN license, BLS, and ACLS within six months of hire.

The hospital serves northern New Jersey with comprehensive care and a large, multidisciplinary team. The RN will provide age-specific nursing care, participate in patient education and discharge planning, and support unit performance

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized age-specific professional nursing care to patients.
• Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Participate in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
