Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts on the Ortho unit (45 beds). You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the health-care team and supervising LPNs/CNAs in a fast-paced setting.

RN licensure in MT, ASN/ADN with BSN within 4 years, and BLS at hire are required, with ACLS/NRP/PALS as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN with BSN within 4 years from hire unless 15 years RN experience.
• Current RN license in the practice state.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and family.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans; comply with guidelines and documentation.
