Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Ortho unit on the night shift. The RN will assess patient needs, develop plans, and coordinate care across teams in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license in the state, and BLS with ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable. BSN must be pursued within four years unless exempt by experience. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• A Registered Nurse with an ASN/ADN degree must complete a BSN within four years of hire unless the RN has 15+ years of acute care RN experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate) certification upon hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs/CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
