Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care on an orthopedic unit.

Night shift only; incumbents will supervise LPNs/CNAs, follow guidelines, and participate in clinical conferences while delivering patient-centered care across diverse diagnoses. A BSN within four years is encouraged; state RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
