Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shift coverage on the Ortho Unit. You will assess patient needs, participate in care planning, and collaborate with the health team to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, current RN licensure in Montana, and BLS-HCP certification with unit-specific ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate. 36 hours weekly at stable pay scales.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• A BSN must be obtained within four years of hire unless 15+ years RN acute-care experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
