Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care as part of a coordinated health team. The Ortho Unit handles diverse medical and surgical patients; you will assess needs, develop care plans, document accurately, and mentor LPNs and CNAs while adhering to standards and regulations.

Requires MT RN license, BSN within four years if starting with ASN/ADN, and BLS-HCP.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must obtain BSN within four years from hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
