Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT seeks a Registered Nurse on the night shift to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in an orthopaedic and medical–surgical setting.

The RN must hold an accredited nursing degree and complete a BSN within four years; responsibilities include coordinating with the care team, documentation, and communicating with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN RN must complete a BSN within four years from hire unless the RN has a minimum of fifteen years of proven continuous RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Any RN who takes legally protected leave during the four-year completion period may have the period extended by a comparable amount of time.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
