Job summary

Banner University Medical Center-Tucson is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Observation unit (1NW/4NW). You will admit, transfer and discharge patients, with telemetry monitoring and collaborative care with physicians and staff.

The role includes participation in the PCU Academy and opportunities for growth within Banner Health. The unit offers a fast-paced environment, weekend differential, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must possess current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care/ Observation/ PCU preferred.
• Bachelor's degree and/or BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning.
• Perform direct patient care and coordinate with health-care team.
• Document in patient records and communicate with physicians.
• Participate in unit leadership and quality improvement activities.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and ensure patient safety.
