Job summary

Banner Health's Observation Unit in Tucson is seeking a registered nurse for the Night shift in the Outpatient Observation 1NW. This role requires at least 12 months of RN experience in acute care and offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, participate in PCU Academy, and enjoy shift differentials and weekend differential; provides career ladder opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• 12 months of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and revise a plan of care with realistic, measurable goals.
• Implement the plan of care and coordinate activities of the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
