Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursery, ISCU, Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery Resource Team on night shifts. Location includes Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals. Per Diem with three levels of weekly hour commitments.
Requires IL nursing license and BSN preferred, with 2+ years acute care in relevant areas. Responsibilities include independent nursing care, care planning, and supervision of support staff, with collaboration across the health care team to ensure safety and
Qualifications
- Active IL nursing license required.
- NLN-accredited nursing program graduate.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- Minimum two years of acute care experience in Nursery, Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery and/or ISCU.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective nursing care for labor, delivery and postpartum patients.
- Use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in interdisciplinary care.
- Communicate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Contribute to patient safety and high-quality experience.
