Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a skilled RN to support Nursery, ISCU, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery on the Night Shift. You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to labor and delivery and postpartum patients, guiding staff and coordinating with the health care team across Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals.

Requirements include IL licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP Certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
Minimum two years of recent acute care experience in Nursery, Pediatrics, L&D and/or ISCU.
Nursery, Pediatrics, L&D and/or ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for labor and delivery and postpartum patients.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
