Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursery, ISCU, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery Resource Team on the Night Shift at Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals.
Shifts include 2300-0730 and 1900-0730 with per diem commitments and weekend/holiday requirements per level agreement. You will provide safe, compassionate care and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
- Minimum two years of acute care clinical experience in Nursery, Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery and/or ISCU.
Responsibilities
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for labor and delivery and postpartum patients.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
