Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neuro and Trauma Progressive Care Telemetry Unit (PCU). The role focuses on high-acuity neuro and trauma patients, with the opportunity to care for multi-system conditions.

The unit emphasizes teamwork, learning, and rapid response to changing patient conditions. This full-time night shift includes three 12-hour shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) with weekend/holiday rotation, an 18% night differential, and a flat rate

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute or critical care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Develop and revise care plans with input from patient/family and health team.
• Coordinate care and supervise other licensed staff and assistive personnel.
• Document care accurately in patient records and communicate status to the team.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care and participate in unit leadership and patient safety initiatives.
