Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. The role collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care in a not-for-profit, Christian environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, resident assessment, education, and a range of nursing interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduates from a nationally accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Unencumbered RN license; multistate licensure preferred.
• Familiarity with CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation is desirable.
• Ability to meet department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and the care team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, assessments, education, and interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Uphold standards of practice, ethics, and state regulations.
