Job summary

SnapCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment in Memphis, TN. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments within 8 hours of admission and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications before the first shift, a minimum of 2 years bedside experience, and preferably recent ICU experience. Supervisory duties may be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required before first shift
• ACLS certification required before first shift
• Active RN license required
• Recent ICU experience highly desired

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Participate in rehabilitation program and apply nursing process
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission with patient and family teaching
• Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and charge nurses
• Provide direction and supervision of LPNs and CNAs
• Possibly assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation
• Maintain focus on patient and employee safety, including infection control and fall prevention
