Job summary

SnapCare is seeking an RN for night shift in the Critical Illness and Rehab SSH unit in West Tennessee. You will support patients requiring intensive medical care and rehabilitation, developing and updating care plans, and ensuring high-quality nursing care.

The role involves supervising LPNs and CNAs, performing timely nursing assessments, and engaging in discharge planning and patient education. BLS and ACLS are required before the first shift, with a focus on critical care and bedside

Qualifications

• Critical care experience required.
• Minimum two years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to first shift.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessment data.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Contribute to discharge planning from day of admission and provide patient teaching.
• Communicate patient status changes to care providers and charge nurses.
• Direct, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel.
