Job summary

SnapCare in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced RN to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role involves nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and developing individualized care plans, while supervising LPNs, CNAs, and orientees.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, participate in rehabilitation programs, discharge planning, and communicate changes in patient status to physicians and the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• BLS and ACLS required before first shift.
• Minimum two years bedside clinical experience.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, CNAs, and orientees.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs on the unit.
• Discharge planning starting from day of admission and patient teaching.
• Communicate status changes to attending physician and Charge Nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses.
• Provide direction and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
• May assume charge responsibility after orientation.
