Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Holstein, IA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents during night shifts. This full-time role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in a compassionate, Christian environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with the inter-disciplinary team, directing licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensuring safety and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Obtain and maintain required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
