Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Lakota, ND seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team across all phases of care.

The RN coordinates care, assesses residents, and educates on care plans. The role may serve as charge nurse, delegating to licensed and unlicensed staff while adhering to state rules and ANA ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized resident care.
• Collaborates with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
