White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery Unit. You will educate patients and families, model professional care, and use evidence-based practice to guide patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include mentoring, developing care plans, and performing rounds with a patient-centered approach. Requires Maryland RN license, NCLEX, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as needed. Benefits included.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing score on NCLEX.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Maryland State nursing license and BLS.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty.

Responsabilidades

• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice and Adventist HealthCare values.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population and identify changes in condition.
• Mentor students and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice.
