Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing score on NCLEX.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while advancing knowledge and skills under supervision.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses and support best practices with electronic resources.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards and Adventist HealthCare values.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties to maximize efficiency.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify and initiate corrective action for changing patient conditions.
