Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for Labor and Delivery. The role focuses on patient education, high-quality care, and adherence to professional standards in a faith-based environment.

The RN will mentor staff, utilize electronic records, and develop care plans while addressing patient needs during night shifts. Maryland licensed RNs with BLS and 1+ year experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX required.
• Active Maryland State nursing license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience

Aufgaben

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses and support best practices.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards.
• Use equipment correctly and delegate non-nursing duties.
• Develop a plan of care for the patient population.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate response.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members.
• Conduct purposeful rounds from patient and family perspective.
• Apply evidence to practice and pursue improvement.
