Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines; utilizes critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
