Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Union - Nursing Float Pool at 34102 Atrium Health Union. The role offers 2 x 12-hour shifts per week, from 7p to 7a, with every other weekend.

You must be willing to float to Atrium Health Union, Union West and Anson to meet patient care needs. The position requires a BSN or RN licensure with BLS and a year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• BLS certification is required; additional certifications may be needed by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
