Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour-per-week float role within the Atrium Health Union nursing float pool. The incumbent will perform nursing assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the care team across multiple units and facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges in the relevant state(s).
• BLS certification or higher-level certifications may be required depending on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, updates care plans, and coordinates with the care team.
