Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an RN for the Family Center on the night shift. The role involves 72 hours bi-weekly (three shifts per week) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with holiday rotation, weekend, and on-call requirements.

The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and participate in quality improvement activities within a 27-bed unit offering newborn assessment and antepartum services.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Maryland or compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or willingness to obtain within 5 years.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required within 90 days of employment.
• C-EFM certification required within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and leadership duties.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessments per department standards.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and discharge planning.
• Communicate effectively with the health care team and document patient responses.
• Demonstrate accountability and participate in department quality improvement.
