Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on a part-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in Frederick, MD. The role requires 2 years of L&D experience and 48 hours per pay period across two 12-hour shifts, with weekend/holiday rotation and on-call duties.

The RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborates with the health care team, and participates in quality improvement activities while following hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing; BSN preferred or will obtain within 5 years.
• Minimum 1 year Labor and Delivery experience.
• BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and plan care using nursing standards.
• Develop and document care plans and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Float to other units as needed.
