Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center's Nursery Team seeks a Part-Time RN for the Night shift (7 pm - 7 am) in the Family Care Unit. You will provide specialized newborn care, monitor mother-infant status, and collaborate with OB and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year RN work experience is required.
• Seeking Level II NICU experience to support newborns.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to healthy and at-risk newborns during transition, stabilization, hospitalization, and discharge.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with obstetric providers, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing and postpartum experience.
• Advocate for individualized, patient-centered birth plans while ensuring evidence-based care.
