Job summary

Frederick Health in Frederick, MD is seeking a Night Shift RN on the Labor and Delivery unit. The LDRP Nurse provides direct patient care, leads and teaches others, and participates in quality improvement.

This full-time, on-site role requires BSN, BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications, plus 1–2 years of acute care RN experience including antepartum/EFM. Night hours 1900–0730, three 12-hour shifts, with holiday rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Eligible for or licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or compact state.
• BSN required.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification within hire or 90 days.
• C-EFM certification within 1 year.
• 1–2 yrs RN acute care; Antepartum and EFM experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning per nursing standards.
• Prioritize treatment and document changes in patient condition.
• Implement and document nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Collaborate with health care team to revise treatment plans.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning integration.
