Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts in the Emergency Department. The role involves three 12-hour nights per week (7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays, delivering evidence-based nursing care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

You will assess patients, develop care plans with families, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the care team to maintain safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience is required.
• New graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, and promotes quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care and collaborates with patient and family to develop a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to the health care team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to standards and guidelines.
• Assumes accountability for care provided and documented by other staff as appropriate.
