Job summary

Mount Carmel Lewis Center, part of Trinity Health, is seeking an RN for our Free-Standing Emergency Department. The role includes night shifts (7pm–7:30am), three 12-hour shifts per week, with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

The RN will provide high-quality nursing care in a Magnet-recognized environment while focusing on safety and patient-centered care. The RN will work within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with the care team to implement plans of care and ensure

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and ensures patient safety while delivering care per standards and policies.
• Collaborates with patients and family to develop a care plan addressing physical, emotional, and educational needs.
• Communicates clearly with the care team and keeps patient/family informed.
• documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately per guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided by all care givers as appropriate.
