Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Dublin, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for our new Emergency Department, primarily nights. This role covers three 12-hour shifts weekly (7pm–7:30am) with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

You will deliver patient‑centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborate with the ED team, and contribute to safety, education, and evidence‑based practice while upholding organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Casual RNs: 2 years of experience required.
• New grads with <1 year will enroll in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, and promotes evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care, and develops a plan of care with patient/family.
• Communicates pertinent information to the care team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per policy.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided by others as appropriate.
