Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The position is full-time, with three 12-hour evening shifts weekly (noon–12:30am) and rotating weekends/holidays.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care within Ohio scope of practice, collaborate with the care team, and support safety and quality initiatives while adhering to organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and Ohio RN license required.
• For casual RNs, 2 years of experience are required.
• New graduates with <1 year may enter Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, and promotes evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and plans care with patient and family, including physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Communicates pertinent information to the care team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately per policy.
• Assumes accountability for care provided by others as appropriate.
