Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Grove City. The role involves three 12-hour evening shifts weekly (3pm–3:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing school.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduate nurses with less than 1 year of clinical experience enroll in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and ensure patient safety, applying evidence-based practice.
• Assess and plan care for assigned patients in collaboration with patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent information to the care team promptly and clearly.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in accordance with standards and policies.
• Assume accountability for care provided by other staff as appropriate.
