Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Grove City on a three 12-hour night shifts weekly, from 7pm to 7:30am, with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Staff RN will provide care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with the care team to deliver safe, patient-centered nursing. This position requires graduation from nursing school and Ohio licensure.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current Ohio RN license.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduates with <1 year may enroll in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice, and maintains professionalism.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care, collaborates with patient and family to develop a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members in a timely manner and keeps patient/family informed.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per standards.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
