Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts in the Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Grove City. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays, delivering patient-centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will collaborate with the care team, document thoroughly, and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives while adhering to organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Graduate from school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients, collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately and completely per standards and policies.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care givers.
