Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process across all care phases. The role collaborates with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The incumbent will coordinate assessments, resident education, and nursing interventions, and may act as charge nurse, delegating to licensed and unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure (NLC).
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education, and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
