Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care using the nursing process across all phases of care. You will collaborate with residents, families and a professional team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role may involve serving as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, and maintaining required competencies and licensure within state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board where practice occurs.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications for department.
• Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
