Texas Health Resources in Dallas, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Behavioral Health Department at Texas Health Dallas. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and teach nursing groups as needed.

The position is full-time, night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with a focus on safe, evidence-based care for adults with co-occurring behavioral health and chemical dependency needs. BSN preferred and BH experience strongly valued.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BCLS and BCPMHN required prior to or upon hire.
• ACPI within 30 days of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience; behavioral health experience preferred.
• Practice under the Texas Nurse Practice Act; act as a team collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses, plans, and intervenes to meet patient needs.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions.
• Maintains safety and infection control for patients of all ages.
• Ensures continuity of care across shifts and transfers.
