Job summary
Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking an Intake RN to provide professional nursing care following hospital policy. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and educate patients and families while supervising nursing support staff.
Qualifications include ADN or BSN, Texas RN license, and CPR; BLS/ACLS/CPI certifications are a plus. Requires at least 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or related fields, with bi-lingual ability a plus.
Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from an accredited college.
- Active Texas RN license in good standing.
- CPR, BLS, ACLS; CPI certifications a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including monitoring and caring for their emotional and social needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to determine and provide the best care.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and families to gather case history.
- Plan and provide comprehensive nursing care and document progress.
