Job summary

St. Joseph Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to clients on-site at our Kentucky facility. You will supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff on your shift, develop individualized care plans, and ensure safety during assessments and treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One+ years’ nursing experience—clinical or behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ physical and behavioral health needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor effects with two identifiers.
• Maintain medical records and educate clients and families on care and safety.
• Communicate changes in patient status promptly to providers and treatment team.
• Coordinate hand-offs and ensure thorough documentation at shift change.
• Contribute to admission/discharge processes and participate in unit activities.
