Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years' nursing experience in clinical/behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with psychotropic medications and med administration procedures preferred.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in an acute psychiatric setting.

Aufgaben

• Assess clients' physical and behavioral health needs and develop nursing care plans.
• Monitor client status and communicate findings to providers promptly.
• Administer medications and document accurately with two identifiers.
• Maintain medication safety, records, and narcotics control.
• Contribute to admission/discharge processes and care handoffs.
• Collaborate with treatment team for coordinated client care.
• Educate clients and families about medications, side effects, and rights.
