St. Joseph Institute for Addiction in Port Matilda, PA seeks a Registered Nurse (nights) to provide nursing care to clients in a behavioral health/ addiction treatment setting. You will supervise LPNs/CNAs, develop care plans, assess patients, and communicate with the treatment team to ensure safe, effective care.

The role requires an RN license, CPR and de-escalation/restraint certifications, and preferred psychiatric nursing certification. On-site, non-remote position with potential for growth.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved nursing program and an active RN license.
• Nursing experience in clinical or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Experience with psychotropic meds and medication procedures preferred.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and coordinate nursing care; develop care plans for clients.
• Assess and communicate client status to the interdisciplinary team.
• administer medications accurately with two identifiers and document.
• Transcribe orders and ensure all elements meet policy requirements.
• Educate clients and families on medications, side effects, and rights.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and hand off reports to staff.
