Job summary

1103 Team Member Services is seeking a Night Shift PRN Respiratory Therapist in DeLand, FL. You will recommend changes in respiratory care plans based on medical necessity, supervise student preceptees, and manage ventilator settings while monitoring patient response.

The role requires graduation from an approved respiratory therapy program and 3+ years of hospital experience as an RRT, with preferred ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of respiratory therapy or equivalent training.
• 3+ years hospital experience as RRT.
• Experience in an acute care environment with blood gas laboratory management.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and coaches patients before, during, and after treatment delivery.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and selects ventilator mode and settings.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts therapy per protocol and criteria.
• Provides training and supervision to staff and students.
