Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shift to provide expert respiratory care across all ages. You will assess, implement, and adjust treatment plans, operate ventilators, draw and interpret arterial blood gases, and respond to emergencies.

Required: Associate degree in Respiratory Care, 3+ years as an RRT, and Florida RRT credentials. This on-site position includes comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of respiratory therapy or equivalent training.
• 3+ years of hospital experience as an RRT.

Responsibilities

• Recommend changes in respiratory care plans based on medical necessity and protocols.
• Instruct and coach patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation and adjust settings as needed.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and arterial line placements.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in procedures as required.
• Provide training and supervision to staff and students.
