AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shift coverage. The role involves delivering respiratory and oxygen therapies, monitoring ventilators, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science, BLS, and State Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials; 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• NBRC credential must be maintained as a condition of continued role eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Night shift and weekend/holiday coverage may be required.
• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Responds to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Performs respiratory and oxygen delivery therapies.
• Obtains and analyzes arterial blood gases and co-oximetry; reports findings.
• Operates and maintains mechanical ventilators per protocol.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to optimize therapy.
