Job summary

Advocate Health’s Cabarrus Respiratory Therapy Services is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for night shift (7P-7A) at Atrium Health Cabarrus. The role requires CRT certification, NBRC registry eligibility, and NC state licensure with BLS; PALS/NRP and ACLS within 90 days are required.

The position offers a sign-on bonus eligibility and a pay range of $30.70–$46.05 per hour. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory therapies, manage ventilator support, and perform point-of-care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care or NBRC registry eligibility.
• CRT applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Provides respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care and departmental policies.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Reports routine clinical procedures to relief personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs and maintains competency for point-of-care testing per policies and regulations.
• Provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring for patient safety and appropriateness of care.
• Maintains knowledge and IQ to enhance service to customers.
• Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient care per guidelines.
