Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Resident Assistant for a full-time overnight shift (7p–7a) to provide direct care to residents and support activities of daily living in a respectful, compliant manner.

You will assist with entering vitals, mobility, meals, hygiene, and safety, document care in the electronic record, and collaborate with nurses and supervisors to maintain residents’ dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Two to four years preferred.
• Good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including assistance with activities of daily living.
• Answer call lights promptly and professionally; assist with mobility and hygiene.
• Assist nurses with vitals, weights, and documentation as assigned.
• Maintain residents' rights, confidentiality, and report concerns to supervisors.
• Document resident information accurately in the electronic medical record.
