Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Non-Certified Nursing Assistant for a PRN night shift (4p-10p) to provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, document vital signs, and support a safe, respectful living environment.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, adherence to policies, and professional communication with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Experience: Two to four years preferred.
• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident direct care needs including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Record vitals, weights and other resident documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and assist with meals.
• Respond to call lights promptly and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with training and orientation of new staff as assigned.
