Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Non-Certified Nurse Assistant for full-time night shift (7p-7a) with every other weekend. The role provides direct care and supports residents with daily activities according to facility policies.

The incumbent assists nurses, records vitals, maintains patient areas, and upholds safety and infection-control standards while delivering compassionate service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Two to four years preferred experience.
• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents, including activities of daily living, lifting, turning, positioning, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Responds to call lights in a timely and professional manner and provides restorative care as needed.
• Assists nurses with vitals, weights, documentation, and other clerical tasks.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and assists with admissions and transitions.
• Documents resident information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Adheres to Safety, Infection Control, and HIPAA policies and uses protective equipment.
• Prepares residents for meals, serves food, assists with eating, and records intake.
